Simple Silver Ring Workshop - Tuesday 22nd July (10.30am to approx. 12.30pm)
Description
This pared-back class is a lovely way to dip your toe into the world of silversmithing. You’ll make your very own sterling silver ring from scratch—sized to fit you perfectly—and take it home to wear with pride.
Set in my friendly, fully equipped teaching studio, this shorter-format session offers the same relaxed atmosphere and one-to-one guidance as my full length workshops, just with fewer extras and a smaller time commitment.
It’s ideal if you’re curious about jewellery making, want to give it a try before booking a full class, or are simply looking for a budget-friendly creative treat.
All tools and materials are included, and you’ll have your own bench and space to work-plus plenty of encouragement every step of the way.
You’ll be guided through each step as you learn how to size, cut, shape, texture, solder, file, polish and finish your silver ring. There are four beautiful textures to choose from, so you can make your piece truly your own.
With a maximum of five people per class, there’s plenty of time for one-to-one support and guidance throughout.
No experience needed—this class is perfect for complete beginners. The minimum age is 13, and anyone under 16 will need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian who’s also taking part in the class.
How long is the class?
The class lasts around 2 hours. As it’s a shorter session, there won’t be a formal break—but water will be available throughout.
Please note that class times are approximate and may run slightly over or finish a little earlier, depending on the group.
