Welcome to the studio - a unique jewellery making experience in the north Northumberland countryside, just over the Scottish border.
Spend a calm, creative day making your own jewellery in one of my beginner-friendly classes. Choose from ring, bangle and silver clay workshops, with small class sizes, plenty of one-to-one tuition, and your own professionally equipped jeweller's bench.
Come along on your own, with a friend, or to celebrate a birthday, hen do or family occasion - you'll be warmly welcomed and spend the day creating a piece of jewellery to wear home. It's a chance to slow down and switch off from the daily rush.
Just 20 minutes from Berwick-upon-Tweed on the A1, and midway between Edinburgh and Newcastle, the studio is easy to reach with plenty of free on-site parking.

HAVE A QUESTION?
Do I need to have any jewellery making experience?
Absolutely not! All classes are suitable for complete beginners and even if you're "not crafty", don't worry, you'll get plenty of one to one guidance in the class!
What's included in the class price?
All materials, tools, and equipment are included in the cost of your jewellery making workshop.
Tea, coffee, and water will be provided, along with delicious muffins from our lovely Cornhill Village Shop. If you have any dietary requirements or allergies, please let me know when booking and I’ll do my best to accommodate them.
What is the minimum age to attend a class?
The minimum age for classes is 13, and anyone under 18 will need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian who’s also taking part in the class. Exceptions can sometimes be made for younger children – please get in touch with me to discuss before booking the class.
What should I wear to class?
Making your own jewellery can get a little messy! Please avoid wearing your best clothes. Choose something comfortable (nothing loose or flowing), and NO SANDALS OR OPEN TOED SHOES for safety and insurance reasons. If you do wear open toed footwear to the class, you will not be able to take part in some parts of the class.
If you wear glasses, don’t forget them.
Long hair should be tied back for safety.
Aprons and safety glasses will all be provided in silver smithing classes to help keep you comfortable and protected while you work.

PRIVATE GROUP BOOKINGS
Private jewellery making classes are a great activity for friends and family so if you would like to enquire about a private group booking, please get in touch and we can schedule a date to suit you. If the class is for a special occasion, a cake can be arranged at no extra cost.
Classes can accommodate 5 or 6 people (depending on the class).
