What is included in the class price?
Please see individual class listings but in general, all materials, the use of tools and equipment are included. Additional materials may be available to purchase should you have time to make extra pieces.
Tea/coffee/water, and cake made by our fabulous Cornhill Village Shop will be provided. Please advise of any dietary requests or allergies at the time of booking and I will try to accommodate them.

What should I wear?
Silversmithing can be a messy business so please don’t wear your best clothes to class. Wear something comfortable but not too loose (fire hazzard!) and avoid sandals and open toe shoes. Please remember to bring your glasses if you wear them. Long hair must be tied back. Aprons, safety glasses and dust masks will be provided for you.
Where are you located?
The studio is located in the Cornhill on Tweed Centre, Cornhill on Tweed, Northumberland, TD12 4UE. Please enter via St Helens Gardens from the main road (map below). Parking is available in the centre grounds and the studio can be accessed through the main centre doors. The studio is located off of the main hall, second door on the left. If you need wheelchair access, please let me know in advance.
Please drive slowly through St Helens Gardens and into the centre car park as there may be children playing.
What time should I arrive for my class?
Please try to arrive 5 - 10 minutes before the start of your class so you have time to settle in. Please don’t arrive before this as I may still be setting up the studio. The class will start promptly so please try to be on time. If you are running late, please let me know on 07472 325436.
How long will the class last?
Class timings are shown on the product listings but please note that these are approximate. Classes may be longer or shorter depending on the number of participants and the skill levels. If you need to leave at a certain time, please let me know at the beginning of the class.
Do you take private/group/special occasion bookings?
Yes, I do! Jewellery classes are a great activity for friends and family so if you would like to enquire about a private group booking, please fill in the contact form here.
Silversmithing classes can accommodate 5 people and Silver Clay classes are larger at 6 people.
If the class is for a special occasion, a cake can be arranged at no extra cost.
Mac the workshop dog.
Mac will usually be off playing with his friends at doggy during classes but there may be occasions where he will be in the studio. He is very friendly but if you are allergic/scared of dogs, please let me know at the time of booking.
Do you offer class gift vouchers?
E-Vouchers and postal vouchers are available here.
Vouchers must be used within 6 months of the purchase date (the class can take place after 6 months, as long as it is booked within 6 months). If there is a balance left on the gift card, it can be used to purchase jewellery in the studio shop (on presentation of the voucher).
